Tuesday, January 31

Today we completed a Do What to activate our prior knowledge about graphing a line of an equation in slope- intercept form.


Then we reviewed the notes from yesterday; calling attention to equations with one variable. We concluded that an equation with only an x variable will have undefined slope and an equation with only a y will have no slope. We watched a video I have posted about this for your review.


We continued the lesson today graphing two linear equations and identifying where they intersect. We took the following notes:



We completed numbers 1 and 2 on the class work practice together and then number 3 was an exit slip question. You will need to save this handout for tomorrows class.
